He was predeceased by : his parents, Clement Zens and Elsie Zens (Ehlke); his in-laws, Joe and Alma Hofer; his brother Warren Zens; his brother-in-law Greg Koepsell; and his niece Melissa Zens.

He is survived by : his wife Ronda Hofer; his grandchildren, Stratton, Treston, Shaylee, Isaac, Owen and Macy; his sisters, LuGene Koepsell and LeAnne Cutts (Jay); his sister-in-law Kathy Zens; and his in-laws, Danny Hofer (Connie) and Kerry Hofer (Chris).
