With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles H. Tanck (Canton, South Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Charles shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charles farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara M. Tanck and Hueners; his wife Betty; his siblings, John Tanck and Rachel Conkling; and his close friends, Ole and Dorothy Hamran.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
