He was predeceased by: his parents, Elberta L. Wiseman Swyers and Earl D. Swyers Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Kuschel; his former wife Elaine Swyers; his siblings, Earl "Skip" Swyers Jr. (Joni), Elaine Steinbronn (Jerry) and Jamie Clancy (Rod); and his godmother Louise Starkey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
