With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wesley McConnell (Canton, South Dakota), who passed away on November 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene McConnell and Geneva McConnell; and his sister Peggy Pierson (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Mark McConnell (Sharon) and Marla Woessner (Terry); his grandchildren, Nicky Bussell (Stephen), Natalie Gray (Brandon), Sam McConnell, Gabie McConnell, Madysen Woessner, Skyler Stansell (Keiana), Megan Rinish (Jake) and Melissa Reynolds (Colby); and his brother Stanley McConnell (Phyllis). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to Canton United Methodist Church.
