He was predeceased by : his parents, Melvin Osborn and Dorothy Osborn (Fischer); and also, Arlis and Don Jorgensen. He is survived by : his wife Candice Jorgensen; his children, Jennifer Slack (Casey) of Lennox, Marisa Ladd (Steve) of Austin, TX and Ben Osborn (Laura) of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Landon Slack, Briana Slack, Tyson Ladd and Savannah Ladd; his siblings, David Osborn of Salem, SD and Carolyn Osborn of Kyle, TX; and his brothers-in-law, Rex Jorgensen (Janna) of Custer, SD and Todd Jorgensen (Kim) of Yankton, SD. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

The family asks that everyone wear masks and do their best to social distance.

“Darrell was my brother in law for seven years, and I cared for him as my family. I loved his sister and was her husband. I am terribly saddened to learn of his death. My sincere condolences are with Candice, Carolyn, and Darrell’s children. He was the best of men. Jim Raup”
