He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Olson and Mabel Olson (Andahl); his wife Neoma Jean Kirkham; his son Richard; his granddaughter Linda Kay Ramos; and his siblings, Don Olson, Melvin Olson, Arnold, Robert Olson, Arlene Dwyer and Mary Ellen Gross.
He is survived by : his children, Jim Jr. (Rita) of Viborg, John (Teri) of Sioux Falls, Barb Ramos of Centerville and Linda Holmberg (Steven) of Centerville; and his grandchildren, Rebbecca Brown, Jesse Olson, Roxanne Davis (Chad), Rachel Anderson (Tony), TJ Olson (Colleen), Erin Zielinski (Chris), James Ramos (Amy), Melissa Lefers (Ryan), Bradley Holmberg (Nicole), Gregory Holmberg (Sara), Kevin Holmberg (Allison Jutras) and Brett Holmberg (Bree). He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
