He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomson and Nane Thomson. He is survived by: his children, Rev. Sarah Marshall (Marc) of Brainerd and Dr. Christopher Thomson of San Diego; his wife Kathy Thomson; his siblings, John Thomson and Ann Cole (Sioux Falls); and his grandchildren, Lucy, Ava, Aubree, Blake, Cora and Rhys. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; and countless dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Centerville Area Foundation or to the Queen II in Okoboji, in honor of Jim's deep love for his community and his favorite place by the water.
