We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2025, at the age of 75, Richard G. Vasgaard of Centerville, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Vasgaard; and his nephew Dr. Joel Vasgaard. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Vasgaard; his wife Joyce Nygaard; his children, Thomas of Centerville, SD and Lisa Scott (John) of Hayfield, MN; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Henry, Kathrine, Abraham, Skyler and Montana; and his siblings, Chuck (Joan), Jeff, James (Pam) and Barb Kippes (Joe).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Feeding South Dakota (https://www.feedingsouthdakota.org) in memory of Richard Vasgaard.
