It is with sadness that the passing of Cynthia J. Wilkens of Chamberlain, South Dakota is shared. Cynthia, born on July 26, 1952, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Cynthia will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Cynthia by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Cynthia is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Cynthia’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myren Anderson and Beverley Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Brian Wilkens (Valerie) of Madison and Shelly Goodman (Gary) of Chamberlain; her grandchildren, Jade, Danika, Deegan and Grace; and her sisters, Brenda Ericson (Charlie) of Alcester and Renee Olson (Scott) of Corsica. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (902 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325).
