He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. Young and Eleanor Young (Zinter); and his wife Danita Dahl. He is survived by: his children, Malia Harnish of Red Wing, MN and Nathan Young of Cheyenne, WY; his grandchildren, Gracie, Vivian and Alex; and his siblings, Richard Jr. "Dick" Young (Twyla) and Donna Mykkanen (Marc).
