He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Yexley and Helen Yexley (Simpson); his son Michael Victor Yexley; his father-in-law Eugene "Buck" Crabtree; his stepfather-in-law Dick Todd (Carol); his sister Linda Saboe; his brother-in-law Arlo Saboe; his brother David Yexley (Joyce); and his nephew Scott Saboe.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Yexley (Crabtree); his children, Lisa Meier of Watertown, SD, Laura Popkes (Gary) of Harrisburg, SD, David Yexley (Tanya) of Jesup, IA and Doug Yexley (Jamie) of Bradley, SD; his grandchildren, Stephanie Holscher (Tony), Garret Meier (Alex), Justin Meier, Haley Warren (Eric), Lyndsea Bulfer (Jay), Nathan Popkes (Nicole), Nicholas Popkes, Samantha Yexley, Jacob Yexley, Caleb Yexley, Katelyn Yexley and Karmen Yexley; his great grandchildren, Blair, Rhett, Ava, Charlie, Henry, Brianna, Reese and Alivia; his mother-in-law Carol Todd (Crabtree) of Watertown, SD; his brothers, Alan Yexley (Susan) of Bradley, SD and Steven Yexley (Betty) of Littleton, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Yexley (David) of Aberdeen, SD and Ken Crabtree (Cinda) of Arlington, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The Yexley family requests that memorial donations be directed to family for further donation to the Jenkins Living Center Ice Cream Soda Fountain renovation project.
