He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Roberts and Emma Roberts (Lee); his wife Sylvia Roberts; his son Shawn Roberts; and his siblings, Henry Roberts, Eugene Roberts, James Roberts, Warren Roberts and Judy Orren.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Roberts (Therese) of Clear Lake, SD and Brad Roberts (Gina) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Jayda Goodstein (Josh) of Richmond, VA, Chelsey Robinson (Joe) of Elk River, Amanda Pesch (Justin) of Taunton, Riley Gregg of Lakewood, CO, Melissa Kesteloot (Korey) of Marshall, Jerren Roberts (Erin) of Minneota and Jessa Myhrberg (Ryne) of Marshall; his great grandchildren, Chloe Heinzen, Ethan Goodstein, Kaleb Goodstein, Hayden Robinson, Noah Robinson, Mia Robinson, Dakota Pesch, Carter Pesch, Bentley Pesch, Owen Kesteloot, Avery Kesteloot, Zach Roberts, Ben Roberts, Jackson Roberts, Luke Johnson, Hadley Myhrberg and Olivia Myhrberg; his brothers, Ty Roberts (Judy) of Marshall and Ron Roberts (Patty) of Robertsdale, AL; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Roberts of Marshall and JoAnn Thompson of Marshall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:15 PM. A memorial service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Radiant Life Church (500 S Saratoga St, Marshall, MN 56258). A burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Marshall Cemetery (600 N Bruce St, Marshall, MN 56258).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Ava's Hospice in Sioux Falls (https://www.sanfordhealth.org) or a local Hospice program of donor's choice.
