She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clayton Welch (Mary Welch) and Mary Welch (Wallenfelt); her husband John Swenson; her children, Kimberly Michalski (Mike) of Watertown, Jordan Bartling (Ben), Brayli Jane, Bryer, Todd Swenson (LeAnn) of Watertown, Tammy Hackens (Dean) of New Underwood and Maysa Wiekeraad (Cole); her brothers, Steve Welch (Kate), Tim Welch, Dan Welch (Sharon), Todd Welch (Lucie), Kevin Welch, Vince Swenson (Marlys), Shirley Swenson, Maynard Swenson (Karen), Wayne Swenson (Gayle) and Ron Swenson (Mary Jane); and her nephew Ryan Welch.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford - Osthus Funeral Chapel (1311 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Tabor Lutheran Church (16168 472nd Ave, Strandburg, SD 57265).
She was the life of every gathering, something we desperately searched for this last year as she battled Alzheimer's while it stole away our loving Jane.
