She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Hoiness and Ruth Hoiness (Linge); her siblings, Curtis of Colton and Bernice; and her brothers-in-law, Leland Nelson of Sioux Falls and Roger Swier of Colton.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Grinde; her children, Mike (Shelly) of Colton, SD and Joan (Lauren) of Bainbridge Island, WA; her grandchildren, Carter Grinde (Erica), Lauren Grinde, Violet Scout, Willa Scout, Wylie Scout and Roo Scout; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Hoiness and Donna Swier.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be designated to the Colton Friends of Baseball for their new field in Colton.
