She was predeceased by : her parents, John and Johanna; her husband Glen Albert Weiss; her grandson Jonas Hendrickson; her daughter-in-law Carol Weiss; and her siblings, Anna, Harland, Judy, Margaret, Mildred and Wally.

She is survived by : her children, Margaret Weiss (Mike Tramontina), Elaine Hendrickson (Scott), Edi Weiss Holzbauer (Owen) and Joel Weiss; her grandchildren, Glenda Masteller, Elizabeth Masteller, Olivia Hendrickson, Sara Holzbauer-DeCastellanos, Aaron Holzbauer, Jonathan Weiss, Micah Holzbauer, Betsy Weiss and Anna Holzbauer; and her great grandchildren, Eric, Lilly, Mason, Esther, Abigail, Lauren and Ember.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Colton United Methodist Church, Feeding South Dakota, or the Red Cross.
