He was predeceased by : his father Gerrett "George" Van Heerde; and his nephew Matthew Reurink. He is survived by : his mother Johanna Van Heerde (Gelderman); his former life partner Pamela Halma; his wife Pam; his daughters, Robin Jacobs (Tom), Jill Devitt (Tim), Kristi Anderson (Matt) and Heidi Van Heerde of Bemidji, MN; his grandchildren, Kennedy Treichler (Calvin), Maxwell Jacobs, Gerrett Devitt, Kate Devitt, Kendall Anderson, Lucy Anderson and Lawrenzo Sailor; and his siblings, Janice Reurink (Don), Dale Van Heerde (Tina), Dean Van Heerde (Carolyn) and Chester. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
