With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Hessman of Custer, South Dakota, born in Rapid City, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, David is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that David's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hessman and Shirley Hessman (Johnson). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kasey Mills and Kesha Mills; and his sister Julie Brown of Rapid City.

“I am saddened to hear about Dave's passing. And my condolences to his loved ones.. We were roommates back in the late 1970's just outside of Spearfish. I, and our other roommates had been trying to find him for the last 3 - 4 years without success. I was notified just yesterday of his passing. If it is not to much trouble, I would like to know what Dave had been doing the past 10, 15 years, and how he passed away. There are several of us who cared deeply for Dave. [email protected]”
