With sadness, we share the passing of Michael Dean Greff of Custer, South Dakota. Michael, born on September 27, 1948, passed away on November 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Greff and Gladys Greff (Uhler); his brothers, Dennis, Paul and Daniel; his son Steven; and his grandson Adam.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Greff (Gannaway) of Custer; his children, Amy, Nicole, Maria and John; his siblings, Leo, David, Brenda, Pandora, Donna and Cindy; and his grandchildren, Carlee, James, Julia, Greta, Madelyn, Michael, Noelle, Evangeline, Wyatt, Natalie, Laura and Katie.
A vigil service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 5:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (449 Harney St, Custer, SD 57730).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. John the Baptist Building Fund or to a charity of choice.
