He is survived by: his sons, Tim Behlings (Jenny) of Custer, SD and Joel Behlings (Christie) of Custer, SD; his grandchildren, Russell Behlings (Tessah) of Custer, SD, Joshua Behlings (Courtney) of Custer, SD and Jacie Behlings of Custer, SD; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Nimick (Cesareo Meza), Thomas Nimick (Emily) and Marcus Myers of Hill City, SD.; his siblings, Lyle Behlings (Janet) of Millbank, SD and Donna Poel of Millbank, SD.; and his great grandchildren, Ellen and Alice Behlings.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Custer Cemetery (25022 US-385, Custer, SD 57730).
Memorial donations to the Behlings's family can be made to the Custer VFW or the Custer American Legion, in his honor.
