In the vast expanse of eternity, Russell shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Russell farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ralph" Arnold and Elsie Arnold; and his siblings, Robert Arnold and Mary Alice Moulton. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Arnold of Custer; and his children, David (Jenny) of Casper, Wyo, Michael (Amanda) of Clear Lake, Iowa and Mary. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; numerous nieces/nephews; brother/sister in-laws; and the countless friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home (234 N 6th St, Custer, SD 57730). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Custer Cemetery (25022 US-385, Custer, SD 57730).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Custer Senior Citizens Center or the Custer YMCA in Russ's memory.
