He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Swartz and Violet Swartz; his brother Johnny Swartz; and his brother-in-law Gale Berry. He is survived by: his siblings, Lawrence (Pringle), Merle of Edgeley, ND, Delores Andersen of Pringle, SD, Juile Berry of Kearny, NE and Esther (Bryan). He is also survived by three sisters.
