We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 20, Alex K. Reinhardt of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Phil, Judy Reinhardt, Darrell and Patty Will. He is survived by : his parents, Carl Reinhardt and Angie Reinhardt; his stepmother Jackie Reinhardt; his brothers, Cole and Seth Reinhardt; his stepsiblings, Chase Stabe, Kaitlyn and Kaylee Stabe; his grandmother Diana Stanton; and his close friend Natalie Santana. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Donations made to the family will be used to fund a scholarship for students with Type I Diabetes.

“Alex joined and sang in the DV Choir his senior year. He was funny, smart, and genuine. We shared a love of history and he would come and sit in my office and we would talk excitedly about it. I remember his big hug at the end of the year, and him exclaiming that he wished he had been in choir sooner. You all have my deepest condolences. I will carry his smile and memory in my heart.”
