He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Machan and Hazel Machan (Neugart); his wife Carlette-Rhea Machan of Dakota Dunes; his son Brian Machan of Ankeny, Iowa; his grandchildren, Mason, Bailey of Ankeny, Iowa, Josh and Peyton Machan of Dakota Dunes; his brother-in-law Bill Lewandowski of Wausau, Wisconsin; his siblings, Tom Machan (Linda) of Coloma, Wisconsin, Vicki Hawkins (John) of Rochester, Minnesota and Jeanine Machan of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; his nieces, Amy Morelli (Stuart), Sara Messina (Steve), Emily Hawkins (Todd Husak) and Kristen Deal (John); his nephew Mark Lewandowski (Tracy Glumich); his son Darin Machan; his sister Mary Lewandowski; and his niece Melissa Lewandowski.
