With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Cyril Trudeau of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2026 at the age of 89. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marvin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Marvin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Trudeau and Marie Trudeau (LaCroix); his sister Darlene Carlson; and his great grandchild Joseph Keating. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughters, Terri Lortz of Grimes, IA, Pam Hagenbucher (Jim) of Urbandale, IA and Shelly Anderson (Jim) of Dakota Dunes, SD; and his sister Louann Milbrandt of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.
