It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Magilke in Deadwood, South Dakota, who passed away, on April 12, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wendelin Grinsteiner and Armelia Grinsteiner (Keller); her husband John Magilke; her siblings, Joseph, Marcus and Alice; and her granddaughter-in-law Ashley Plante Schumacher.

She is survived by : her children, Greg Schumacher (Allison), Sandy Schumacher and Patty Wetzel; her grandchildren, Lisa Adolphson (Cody) of Bismarck, Michael Schumacher of Bismarck, Benjamin Schumacher of Bismarck and Carly Meyer (Jake) of Orient, SD; her great grandchildren, Kristen and Marcus Bird; her pet John Meyer; and her sisters, Cathy Schacht of Eugene, OR and Florence Hauer of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Church of Ascension (1825 S 3rd St, Bismarck, ND 58504).
