She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Eilers and Antoinette Crissy Eilers; her brothers, Carl Eilers, Jr. and Albert Eilers; her son Carl Arne Sjomeling; her great grandchild Rowan Rabe; and her cousin Andre Silva.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Sjomeling of Deadwood; her brother Vincent Eilers of Mendota Heights, Minnesota; her children, Catherine Vath (Eric) of Lincoln, R. Mark Sjomeling (Lili) of Lead, Daniel Sjomeling (Shaunna) of Johnson Lake, Mary Ann Thiess (Hank) of Virginia, Christin Sjomeling of Deadwood and Stacie Mittleider (Brock) of Chadron, Nebraska; and her great grandchildren, Sarah (Tim), John, Benjamin, Gianna, Ryan Donner, Rob (Jenna), Jack Sjomeling, Adam (Hollie), Charlie, Oliver Vath, Danielle (Shane), Evelyn, Thomas, Clara, Jane, Elouise Erickson, Anna (Cody), Maren Dunham, Maura (Riley), Vincent, Finley Rabe, Carlynn (Kipp), Howard, Marshall, Maeve Williams, Mikaela Thiess, Madalyn Thiess and Cameron Mittleider. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Church.
