He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Boyle and Elenor Boyle (Rosemary) of Sheldon; his daughter Shannon; his stepson Roger Frovarp (Jason Lines); his sister Joan Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Johnson and Larry Stockmoe; his daughter-in-law Mary Lou Frovarp; his grandson Jason Lines; and his nephew Jeffrey Johnson.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Stockmoe of Castle Rock; and his stepchildren, Steven Frovarp of Hazen, ND, Kevin Frovarp (Rita) of West Fargo, ND, Mary Susan Almlie (Scott) of Maple Grove, MN and Debbie Brand of West Fargo, ND. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (760 Main St, Deadwood, SD 57732). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
