He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Theodore and Agnes Margaret Krogstad (Steen); his wife Marcella; and his siblings, Allen, Madeline Winterton, Vickie Howe, Ordell and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Gail Opoien (Tom) of Tea, SD, Lowell Krogstad (Becca) of Evan, MN, John Krogstad (Allison) of Pella, IA and Paul Krogstad (Sarah) of Corsica, SD; his grandchildren, Joseph, Vix, Lily, Jonah, Daniel, Kenny, Ben, Caleb, Lucas, Austin, Addison and Mary; his siblings, Doris Brown of Brookings, SD, Margaret Tidemann of Baltic, SD and Glen Krogstad (Carol) of Colton, SD; and his sister-in-law Doris Krogstad of Baltic, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Willow Creek Cemetery, Shriners Children's Hospital, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
