He is survived by: his wife Lacey Knopf of Dell Rapids; his parents, Connie Melloon (Mike) of Lake Madison and Kevin Michel of Dell Rapids; his grandmother Connie Michel of Dell Rapids; his siblings, Josh Pitts (Tonya) of Chester and Nicole Reiners (Terrill); his in-laws, Jeff and Lisa Dring of Dell Rapids; his siblings-in-law, Patrick Knopf (Amanda Henning) of Brandon, Lucas Knopf of Sioux Falls and Lindy Bell (Joseph) of Sioux Falls; and his pets, Gunner and Pepper. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins extended family and numerous friends.
