She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sr. VanDam (VanDam) and Goldie VanDam. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Benning; her children, Jason Benning (Gail), Jamie Benning (Stacy) and Kari Bridges (Jason); her grandchildren, Cooper (Sabdi), Jace (Sydne), Jaxson (Breann), Cole (Kaylee), Logan (Desiree), Carter (Destiny), Ryan (Ashlyn), Evan (Rylee) and Bryce; her siblings, Bobbi Christensen (Dick), Jeanette Arnold (Gene), Laurie Arbes, Shelly Buhr, Kristi Madison (Dean), Monica Vensand (Dale), Marilyn Williams (Rick), Marsha Schlueter (David), Tracy Van Dam (John), Doug Van Dam (Nedra), Robert Jr. and Van Dam; her pet Tucker; and her siblings, Rodney, Steve and Valerie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kahler-Brende Funeral Home (107 W 4th St, Dell Rapids, SD 57022). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
