Lonnie Dee Hawthorne Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2025, at the age of 45, Lonnie Dee Hawthorne (Dell Rapids, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Hawthorne. He is survived by: his mother Rita Mier; his siblings, Nathan and Heather; his children, Tyler (Shiela), Brooke-Lynn, Logan and Sawyer; his grandsons, Brantly, Leighton Dee and Colt; his girlfriend Trista; his girlfriend's children, Jayden, Jordan, Jace, Kiahna and Keigan; Kingston and Kyrian. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion (408 Orleans Ave, Dell Rapids, SD 57022).

In lieu of flowers, contributions to help the family with related expenses are deeply appreciated.
