She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Watters and Mareen Watters (Mitchell); her siblings, Phyllis, Carol and Steve; her grandson Michael; and her husband Sam.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Bolt (Michael) of Madison, Diane Bunkers (Jeff) of Garretson and Debra Mergen (Doug) of Dell Rapids; her stepdaughter Barbara of Corvallis; and her brothers, Donny Watters (Lois) of Jasper, MN and Jerry Watters (Cher) of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kahler-Brende Funeral Home (107 W 4th St, Dell Rapids, SD 57022). A wake will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (606 E 8th St, Dell Rapids, SD 57022). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery (E 15th St & Clark Ave, Dell Rapids Township, SD 57022).
