With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Swanberg of Dell Rapids, South Dakota, born in Pender, Nebraska, who passed away on August 4, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Swanberg to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Swanberg and Judith Swanberg (Swanson); and his siblings, Joy Wilt and Gary Swanberg. He is survived by : his wife Annette Swanberg of Dell Rapids; and his stepsons, Bill Nordstrom of Renner and John Nordstrom of Dell Rapids. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He donated his body to the USD School of Medicine.
