We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2026, at the age of 73, Daniel D. Herriges (Edgemont, South Dakota), born in West Bend, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Herriges and Ione Herriges. He is survived by: his wife Marlene "Mars" Wanke; his daughters, Carla and Chrissy; his grandchildren, Caden, Auburn, Macy, Madeline, Brianna and Shane; and his siblings, David, Dick, Dale, Dean and Diana.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family at the celebration of life, which will be held at the family home in Custer, May 26, 2026, from 4:00pm - TBD.
