He is survived by: his son Corey of Garden Valley, Idaho; his siblings, Mary Haugen (Norman) of Sioux City, Carolyn Nelson (Emil) of Norfolk, Nebraska and Edward Bursell of Sioux City, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Corey Jr. Emmet, Charles, Maddison, Makaveli and Mileena. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bluff View Cemetery.
