He is survived by: his parents, Burley Branson and Betty Branson (Vermillion); his wife Jody Evenson; his son Todd Branson; his grandsons, Kasey and Conner; his siblings, Wes Branson (Kim) and Carol Mitchell (Danny); and his goddaughters, Lexie McCosh and Stephanie Teply. He is also survived by parents, Jody's four siblings and spouses, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Elk Point Baptist Church (603 S Pearl St, Elk Point, SD 57025).
