James Stuefen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Stuefen of Elkton, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Stuefen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Stuefen and Evelyn Stuefen (Myers); and his grandparents, August, Lydia Stuefen, Elmer and Emma Myers.

He is survived by: his brother Cory (Mary Ann) of Elkton; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley Arthur (Joe), Jon Stuefen (Kayla), Elizabeth Stuefen and Tyler Stuefen (Shyanne). He is also survived by seven great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
