She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Baumgard and Helena Baumgard (Maken); her husband Carl "Doc" Harberts; her son Thomas; her son-in-law Kenny Olinger; and her siblings, Verna Clausen, Edna Janda, Dorthy Rosenboom, John Baumgard and Vernon "Dotsy" Baumgard.
She is survived by: her children, Karla Olinger of Emery, SD, Scott Harberts (Mia) of Pueblo West, CO, Kristi Fiscus (Greg) of Louisville, KY, Lori Jeseritz (Dave) of Helena, MT, Bryan Harberts (Angie) of Sioux Falls, SD and Barb Harberts of Emery, SD; her sister Norma Defries (Duane) of Rochester, MN; and her daughter Terri Richards of Bridgewater, SD.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
