Merle Seeman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 88, Merle Seeman of Emery, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Merle may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Merle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vince, Dale, Lyle, Charles, Dick, Larry and Lois Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Tracy Costello, Kelly Martin (David), Roy Seeman, Eric Seeman (Michalene) and Merle "Tony" Seeman (Mara); and his sister-in-law Shannon Troy. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandsons.
