He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his son Terry Lee Laib Schramm; his son-in-law Randy Schramm of Bismarck; his daughters, Sandy Laib and Tawny Opp of Bismarck; his grandchildren, Travis, Nicholas, Kaitlyn and Joseph; his brother Preston (Praxton); and his nephew David DeWall. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lien-Straub-Carlsen Chapel (702 8th St, Eureka, SD 57437).
