He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Schick; his daughters, Michelle Moen (Mark) of Sisseton, SD, Laura Schaeffer of Pierre, SD and Rachel Aamold (Eddie) of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Eddy Schaeffer (Shirley), Norman Schaeffer of Eureka, Raymond Schaeffer of Herreid and Florence Merkel of Bismarck, ND; and his grandchildren, Matthew Moen, Mitchell Moen, Brandon Aamold and Lauren Aamold.
