He is survived by: his parents, Harold Bies and Judy Bies (Geary); his wife Deanna Hall; his daughters, Karli Phillips (Chauncey), Hailey Bies (Nolan), Madison Aberle (Tanner) and Jayden Bies; his grandchildren, Parker, Rowan, Reece and Aberle; his sisters, Jennifer Bies, Audra Vifquain (Jerry) and Heather Bies; and his close friend Kelly Holden. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kirk Funeral Home (1051 E Minnesota St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese the Little Flower Church (532 Adams St, Rapid City, SD 57701).
