He was predeceased by: his wife June Ann Overland; his parents, Freeman Overland (Dewey) and Ruth Overland; and his siblings, Clayton, Doris Bastian and Shirley Drum.
He is survived by: his daughters, Toni Vance (Scott) of Faith, SD and Karla Janssen (Mike) of Rapid City, SD.; his grandchildren, Drew Vance, Madison Bennett (Jacob), Brock Vance (Alanna), Allix Olson (Jack), Olivia Janssen (Ian Wells), Carter Janssen and Sophia Janssen; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Bennett and Greenly Vance; his siblings, Jack Overland (Kay), Barb Isaacs (Richard), Norma Hauser and Pearl Strong; and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Barden, Mary Hix (Leroy), Judy Peterson (Carl), Debbie Hanson (Marty), Bonnie Tallmon (James), Georgia Moos, Teresa Littleton (Brian) and Rob Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
