Frank Kiefer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Kiefer of Faulkton, South Dakota, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kiefer and Amelia Kiefer (Zahn); his wife Carol Martschinske; his sons, Todd, Roger and Dale; his daughter-in-law Ingrid; his siblings, Valentine, Mike, Rose, Katie, Peter and Anton; his parents-in-law, William and Lillian Martschinske; and his siblings-in-law, Edward, Delmar, Keith and Marjory.
He is survived by: his children, Richard of Copperas Cove, TX, Daryl of Faulkton, SD, Debra Kean (Mark), Robbie (Antonia), Kevin of Aberdeen, SD, Sandra VanderLann (Tobey) of Mound City, SD and Jeff of Watertown, SD.; his siblings, Helen of Bismark, ND, Alvina of Aberdeen, SD, Bernice of Bismark, ND and Joe; and his sister-in-law Joyce Bieber (Martschinske) of Illinois. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
