He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard John and Catherine Kalkman (Fanning); and his siblings, Clarence "Bud" (Dorothy), Joe Kalkman, Mary Ann Hathway (Bruce) and Kathleen Cunningham (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Muehl; his children, Denise Kulesa (Ed) of Clearwater, MN, Kevin (Diane), Gary (Kimberly) of Fairbault, MN, Mike (Lori), Miranda, David (Missy) of Cape Coral, FL and Marianne Hartze (Leo); and his siblings-in-law, Consuelo Kalkman, Gayle Charron, Tom and Bob Muehl. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren.
