He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Bothern and Anna Magdalena Bothern (Reumann); and his siblings, Herbert, Herman, Wilhelm (Bill), Robert, Delbert, Henry, Elizabeth, Gerda and Maryan.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Reaves (David) of Marshall, MN, Rick Bothern (Barb) of Tea, SD and Ron Bothern (Char) of Colman, SD; and his grandchildren, Jason Reaves, Jordan Reaves (Nichole), Joanna Reaves (Johnny Frevert), Cody Dolge, Jenna Kobernusz (Josh), Krista Mack (Eric), Tyler Bothern (Cassie) and Megan Bothern. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
