She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Clinton and Ofa Mae Simpson (Wharton); her husband Emmett Stephens; her sister Joyce Hazeltine (Dave); her stepfather Ray Rankin; her stepsiblings, Rodney Rankin and Donna Katona (Paul); and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Stephens and Melva Glodt.
She is survived by: her sisters, Judy Kirkpatrick (Larry) of Pierre and JoAnne Knight of Pierre. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
