He is survived by: his wife Sonja; his children, Wade (Jennifer) of Madison, SD and Eileen of Eagle Butte, SD; his stepchildren, Darin Huehl and Dana Huehl of Pierre, SD; his grandchildren, Ashley Torgerson (Cole), Morgan Stegmeier (Riley), Colby Briggs (Allie), Anthony Briggs, Ian Briggs (Paige) and Emmeline Briggs; his stepgranddaughters, Stephanie Frost, Brittany SeekingLand (Josh) and Tiffany Castiglione; his great grandchildren, Estella, Theodore Lane, Domanic, Tavien, Zadiah, Jonathan, Analia, Paetin, Elza and Samuel; his brothers, Lee Briggs (Mary), Cody Briggs (Lila) and Cole Briggs (Vicky); his siblings-in-law, Eva Briggs, Sherry Mitchell, Marcy Lesmeister, Crit Mitchell and Greg Jewett; and his aunt Mary Hedman. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many nieces and nephews.
