She is survived by: her children, Sherry Slycord, Scott Bender (Pam), Joel Bender (Michelle) and Mike Bender; her siblings, Carol Madsen, Joan VerDouw (Doug) and Allen Spilloway (Folly); her son-in-law Dennis Roeszler; her sister-in-law Deloris Dockter (Stan); her grandchildren, Dylan Bender, India Bender (Nico), Nicholas Rausch, Katherine Ellis (Zach), Christopher Roeszler (Michelle), Logan Bender (Kelsey), Mary Bender (Max), Ben Bender (Brittney) and Brandon Bender; her great grandchildren, Alex Roeszler, Matt Roeszler, Keyon Rausch and Jaxon Bender; and her stepchildren, Jim Labesky (Mary), Jayne Herther (Brad), Janet Labesky, Liz Labesky and Gerald Labesky (Julie).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Frederick (306 1st St, Frederick, SD 57441).
