Though Harvey may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Harvey leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hofer and Annie Hofer (Kleinsasser); his sister Deloris; his grandson Levi; his great grandchild Ariah; and his son-in-law Leslie.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Hofer; his children, Teresa Whitewolf (Leslie), Tim Hofer (Belinda), Troy Hofer and Jay Hofer; and his siblings, Delmer Hofer (Shirley) and Arlyss Brockmueller. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 Great-Grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (615 E 7th St, Freeman, SD 57029).
